He was awarded the Australian Government's Peace Medal in 1986, the International Year of Peace. Author of "A New International Order" (1981), and "Reshaping the Global Agenda" (1986).

She is internationally acknowledged as a pioneer in developing, researching, teaching and implementing conflict resolution skills, systems and attitudes.

Doug Everingham was formerly Minister for Health in the Whitlam government, and a UN delegate in 1982. He is a long-term advocate of world federalism and related causes, including the Simultaneous Policy initiative (SimPol).
